Duchess is a daughter of Queen Jessamun (Queenie) the matriarch of our breeding program. A good share of our mares are related to her because they are such stellar producers. We ran across Duchess at the Twin Cities sale and snatched her up! She's had three foals for us now and they've all been fantastic. Her first competed as a two year old with limited rides at the Ranch Horse Extravaganza in Mason City IA in Sept. 2022. He received 9th in the 2 Year Old Ideal Ranch Horse Non Pro. Her second, CA Diesel has just come back from three weeks of training and our trainer said he was the nicest colt we've brought him. High praise. This filly is probably her best yet; if we didn't have last year's in the replacement pen already, she wouldn't be leaving!
